Pil – Maybe it’s an exorcism, but you know, they’re trying to be proactive and doing it in advance. After all, no use locking the barn door after the horse has bolted, they always say. Might as well see if they can keep The Spawn out before he even gets in, right?
And for the other obvious explanation…. well, even the dead have the right to party, right?
