What Rhymes with Chips?

When it comes to poemin’ the handiest bookmark I have is Rhymezone. Imagine my puzzlement when today I went looking for some rhymes for the word ‘free’.
Cod? Huh?
(It took me several minutes to figure it out).
No income tax, no VAT
No money back, no guarantee
Exactamundo. Except for one slight problem…
1 Syllable?
When Anaglyph said he’d send me
Through postal mail a COD
I thought, at last, I’d get my wish!
Instead I got a fuckin’ fish.
Apple pips
Huh? I got the cod part, but apple pips?
Cute hips
Strips.
I thought his name was Godfrey,
turns out it was Codfree.
“Sounds like a fish let loose,” said I
“No mate, my dad was Captain Birds Eye (sic).
.
I feel strangely relieved that they don’t list CBT.
“What is is that rhymes with chips?”
Asked a man with pert li’l nips.
He shared how they got
So perky and hot:
“Electrified nipple clips”.
[Yeah, I'm sure you're probably not REALLY in the habit of electrifying your manboobs, but I couldn't think of anything else to rhyme]
So let me get this straight… you could have rhymed with tips, ships, snips, flips, dips, rips, whips, grips (and so on) and yet you went for ‘electrified nipple clips’.
Hmmm.
Oh come on – you know that phrase woulda been right there in the “2 syllable” section.
Haha. Indubitably, as a famous duck once said.
At first I didn’t prostate gland, but now I sleight of hand perfectly.
